P. Vellante - President & CEO |

David Vellante has more than twenty years of
management experience in the field of information technology.
He is a
founding member of Barometrix and a leading advocate for
open source research and advisory models.
He is a Co-founder of the Wikibon project.
Before forming Barometrix, Mr. Vellante was Senior Vice President
of International Data Corporation (IDC) where he ran the
company's largest division, serving the world's leading technology
companies such as Hewlett Packard, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle
and Sun Microsystems. Mr. Vellante has extensive international
experience including the launch and management of several
thriving operations in the European and Asia/Pacific regions.
Mr. Vellante has been a popular speaker at international
conferences for IT executives and investment professionals.
He has written and published numerous articles and papers
in the industry trade press and is frequently quoted in publications
such as the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, BusinessWeek,
Forbes and Fortune. Mr. Vellante holds a B.S. in applied
mathematics from Union College in Schenectady, New York.

David A. Floyer - Chief Technical Officer |

David Floyer is a co-founder of Barometrix
and developer of the company's early frameworks for measuring
IT value. As CTO, he provides vision for the company's products
and corporate strategy. He works directly with Barometrix
customers to define market and technical requirements and
assist the Barometrix community in exploiting the company's
portfolio management solutions.Mr. Floyer has extensive experience
in the information industry. For over 20 years, he worked
for IBM in numerous management functions, including research,
sales, marketing, systems analysis and running IT operations
for IBM France. As a sales and marketing executive he specialized
in demonstrating business value for IBM's largest European
customers including BMW, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and
Lloyd's Bank.
Mr. Floyer has also been a consultant to Global 2000 and
emerging organizations as Research Vice President of International
Data Corporation. He was a recognized expert in his field
on issues such as IT strategy, cost assessment, systems architecture,
performance, clustering, and systems software. As well, he
has vast international experience having held positions in
the United Kingdom, France and Denmark.
